The executive Chairman Egor local Government Council, Edo State, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia recently hosted the Deputy Speaker Children Parliament of the State, Esosa Otasowie for her emergence and being a good model to the Children, to whom tomorrow belong.
Congratulating the deputy Speaker for her remarkable performance at the State organized children’s competition, Eghe Ogbemudia rewarded Esosa with cash gift.
Also she was made as a model to launch the distribution of branded over forty thousand notebooks to pupils in eight different public primary schools in the Council area.
Ogbemudia in company of Esosa distributed the notebooks at Edaiken Primary School; where she as a kid, was a pupil, and her mother a teacher.
Expressing excitement to had been back to her childhood school as the executive Chairman of Egor local government Council, she told the pupils that there was hope for every child in public school.
In a pep talk, Ogbemudia pointed out that a good number of high public office holders today, ranging from the office of the President to the councilors, are products of public schools.
She admonished the pupils to take their studies serious, remain assertive and resolute in their desire to be great in their future endeavor.
Ogbemudia was accompanied by the head of Administration of Egor local government council, Dr. C. O Okpere, director of administrations Mr. Victor Igbinigie, Treasurer of the Council, A.O. Otote, H.O.D social department, Mrs. Doris Oronsaye, H.O.D environment, Mr. Ebohon, all the supervisory councilors of the Council and a host of other top political actors in the area.
