Apart from smooth “presidential” talks and opening the borders for immigrants who want to settle in America, how are we sure Joe Biden will be better or different than Donald Trump? Remember that Biden did not make any campaign promise to change the current status of immigration. He only promised to re-enter the international deals that Trump pulled the US out of.
Another thing is that Joe Biden is a career politician. He will bend over to accommodate the so-called “white supremacist” who are in support of the new immigration regime. The tightness of this election will make him see that a large fraction of Americans are with Donald Trump. And these Donald Trump supporters are the wealthiest, and the leaders of industry. As a career politician, Joe Biden will compromise and bend to win them over after he is sworn in. This is owing to the fact that he knows that if he doesn’t, the kind of opposition his government will face from the so-called “white supremacist” who feel they are the owners of America will be worse than the opposition that Trump has faced so far.
The consequence is that Joe Biden will not be able to reverse too much of the policies Trump has initiated. And the pre-election posture of Joe Biden which seemed to support the #BlackLivesMatter movement will most likely disappear as Joe Biden the career politician tries to unite the country and appeal to the powerful Trump supporters. Hence, the black community could end up being used and dumped as has always been the case in all American election years when race issues are hyped only to be used as a means to get the black votes. With no real progress to solve the underlying inequality.
Again, the “democrats” led by a Joe Biden will likely resume their aggressive and disrespectful marketing of their controversial brand of democracy that entails same-sex marriage and cultural imperialism all over the world. You will start hearing of sanctions for African nations that refuse to legalize same sex marriage and other far left inventions that will follow.
We also expect covid-19 to become a huge cash cow for big pharma under Joe Biden. Vaccination could become compulsory, and nations could be sanctioned for not following World Health Organisation (WHO) protocols. The recent moves to decentralize the regulation of world health in order to give room for alternative medicine and combat the perceived big pharma corruption and conspiracies would be discontinued by Joe Biden.
A United States of America led by a Joe Biden will most likely resume interference in the internal affairs of other nations. But no Nation has remained normal after the US has interfered in their affairs to topple a leader. They don’t interfere for the good of the nation but for their own best interests. Libya is still in ruins today because of the actions taken by Barack Obama and this same Joe Biden when he was Vice President.
Yet there are important questions we must ask at this point. Would it have been possible for Trump to achieve his “America First” nationalist agenda without dividing and isolating the nation as much as he has done? Is there any lesson he can learn from this tight race? Would you blame him for being on fight mode from day one, given the battles the opposition brought to him, depriving him of breathing space?
As for the democrats, I am sure that they have already learned that Trump has a cult-like following. Even with over 250,000 Americans Dead due to poorly managed Covid-19 by Trump, it is still difficult to beat him.
The world must understand that no matter the outcome of this election, Trump has replicated himself in hundreds of millions of Americans. You may get rid of this Trump, but there are million others. And they are the wealthiest and most powerful in the country.
